Author Sandra Murtha-Haggerty is a passionate storyteller who loves sparking young readers' imagination and curiosity. She has backgrounds in speech pathology and acting and draws inspiration from childhood memories and everyday adventures with her three boys. When not writing, Sandra works full-time as a children's speech pathologist. She enjoys spending time with her family, playing with her three dogs, and building and creating Halloween haunted houses.
Sara Halvorsen, Illustrator
Illustrator Sara Halvorsen has loved art her entire life, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at LIU Post. In her spare time, Sara enjoys expressing her creativity through a variety of media, including sewing her own, wacky clothes and painting on her face.
Camila Maldonado, Illustrator
Illustrator Camila Maldonado is a New York-based illustrator bringing stories to life through unique and innovative designs. Camila expresses a multitude of themes in their art, creating conversations and sparking empathy. In their spare time, they stay active with volleyball and lifting.
